Prizes 🏆

The ORena SAVE FOCUS Challenge is backed by a substantial prize pool to recognize outstanding contributions to safe, clinically grounded surgical AI. At least $50k has already been secured, and we are actively seeking additional sponsors to further increase the rewards available to participating teams.

Planned Allocation

The current prize pool is planned to be distributed across the three tracks as follows:

FRAME Track

~20%

of the total prize money

SEGMENT Track

~40%

of the total prize money

PROCEDURE Track

~40%

of the total prize money

For the PROCEDURE Track, the amount is planned to be split approximately equally between the Technical and Clinical leaderboards.

Prize Ranking Split

For eligible leaderboards, prizes are planned for the top three teams:

1st place

50%

2nd place

30%

3rd place

20%

Adjustments may be made for ties or practical payout rounding.

Prize Eligibility

Winning teams must satisfy the applicable criteria, including:

  • Outperforming the baselines
  • Meeting eligibility restrictions
  • Providing sufficient methodological details in the supplementary submission file
  • Meeting model release requirements where applicable
